Prior to Community Mission at Locke Park Tower, 5 goodgymers got up nice and earlier to travel over to Locke Park from Sheffield and Leeds and Volunteer at the Parkrun.

Canceled trains could not stop Linda, who had signed up for timekeeping so had to pedal extra hard from the station to make it there for start.

Andrew was master tail walker, keeping the last runners motivated and taking part in a sprint finish.

Leeds' own speedy Rob Riley managed both a 2nd place finish (wow) and a post run token checker role, with Kat and Ash taking charge of barcode scanning at the finish line.

An honourable mention also to York (ex Sheff) GGer Jackie, Sheff GGer Rachel, and Barnsley's Area Activator James cape and all, who all ran the parkrun and helped raise the profile of the GG Barnsley.
