Twas the night before, the night before, the night before Christmas, not a creature was stirring throughout the town.
A hauntily quiet city centre greeted us just three days before Christmas. When usually it would be bustling with late night shoppers and party goers we litter picked our way through a deserted Bede Park, back along the river and into Jubilee Square along empty paths and streets.
A good amount of trash collected to round off what has been a challenging year for us all. Thank you to everyone who has continued to help us doing good in Leicester during 2020, fingers crossed 2021 will be more normal!
Keep your eyes peeled for the January Challenge where teams of GoodGym areas will be competing to run/walk/cycle the most miles in the month. To take part you'll need to link your Strava account to your GoodGym page, let me know if you need any help with that. Leicester are in Team 1 with York, Liverpool, Bexley, Solihull, Brent, Barnsley and Trafford.
Have a safe and restful remainder of 2020!
