Gleadless Valley Woodland Edge and Path Pick and Woodland Post Fireworks Clean Up
1 GoodGymer made their way to help their local community in Sheffield.

This weekend a friend and I joined Litter Picking Legend Iren, who we have worked with before at GoodGym, on one of her organised litter picks.
In total I think there were just less than 10 of us.
Again working with Iren, so much litter was collected, many bags, unfortunately local residents have been flytipping rubbish bags into the woods. :(
Others within the team dragged up a massive fridge freezer.
After an hour's litter picking at the task location we left to undertake a separate clean up of fireworks in another nearby area of woodland to make the space nice again.
It was lovely to see Iren again, she is an inspiration, she is soo dedicated to improving the Gleadless areas for others. I look forward to working with her in more litter picking missions in future.
