Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Sarah
Mrs C’s front and back garden was in need of a tidy up, I was happy to use the lawnmower so volunteered to tackle the back leaving the paved but weedy front garden for Sarah. Mowing was straight forward, after about 25 minutes and two black bags, it was complete. The strimmer required a bit more perseverance as the spool kept jumping off. The final step was to sweep the patio, Mrs C was pleased with the outcome. This was Sarah's first mission, and she came prepared with her gardening gloves. She got stuck in- filling a black bag with all the weeds from the front garden. After all the big weeds and grass were removed a few more stubborn ones needed a bit of coaxing with a fork and trowel (and a bit more elbow grease). It all looked good in the end. We bid farewell to Ms C and enjoyed the rest of our Saturday.
