When it’s windy I get hyperactive. I’ve been like this since I was a child. One particularly blowie day in Cornwall when I was 5 left me in such a state of “extreme energy” I graffitied my parents bedroom with my mum’s nail varnish. We don’t talk about that day.

Anyway, with that in mind I can’t possibly be tasked with forming a coherent run report so instead I leave you with a list of random thoughts I had about the night.

Matt’s XXL GoodGym T-shirt which looked like a tent. It was a good job he didn’t wear it on the run as it would have caught the wind a beaut and he’s have blown half way across London.

The news that George Bright represented us at the 5km park run at the weekend in a staggering time of 17.38 (photo proof attached) Making him the fastest GoodGym 5km runner of all boroughs (still waiting for full verification)

It felt Christmassy – all the shops we ran past had decorations in windows and sparkles and we talked about our Christmas Party - you'd better all have the 11th in your diaries.

Alex Tylor stopped mid run to buy a Magnum (as you do). And then continued to eat it as he raced up Brixton Hill towards Norwood. (see photo)

The fact that we were listed on The Portico Gallery’s “what’s going on’ poster (see photo)

John as always seemed very happy with our help. Even though we weren’t completely sure if we had helped much at all.

The downhill run back felt ESPECIALLY good.

Emma managed the 5 mile run with no problems despite being on the come back from breaking her wrist.

There was no cake this week which was sad but then John took his trousers off and it made up for it. A bit.

Benson’s exclamation of “David Blowie!!”

As I headed home there were wheelie bins strewn everywhere. It made me feel sad. They were like little fallen soldiers. I started to pick some up then I quickly realised that it would take me an age to get home if I did them all… and I was starving… and Catastrophe was on at 10pm. Screw the wheelie bins.
