It’s been a while since we had a night as soggy as tonight!! Maurice and Nicola met at the YMCA bungalow on the Sherbourne estate, willing and eager to do some leafleting. The leaflets we were delivering were promoting a drop in session with the Police/Guinness Partnership alongside the YMCA.
We picked up the leaflets and just as we were about to head out, the heavens opened!! We waited for a little while to see if the rain would stop it didn’t!!! So, we headed out anyway and got wet! Obviously, neither of us were sporting a waterproof – it is July after all (not that that means anything in this country!!).
For those of you who don’t know the Sherbourne estate, it’s a bit like a maze! We can only apologise for those of you that received duplicate leaflets or those that may not have received any at all! Honestly though, we did do our best to try and make sure we got one through everybody’s door.. We also did our best to avoid them getting wet – although this did prove a little tricky at the start! Luckily the rain did stop as the evening went on and by the end of the night, we had dried off!!
It was a job well done, spent in lovely company as always.
Thanks for being a rock as ever Maurice!!
Have a great week.
Lots of love. Nicola xx
