An impressive 30 GoodGymmers ran 5k to help out at the Alexandra Road Community Garden for the second time, making short work of path clearing, weeding & even a bit of planting.

Before setting off we welcomed new runners Sarah & Agota.

On arrival and throughout the task the kind folks at the garden provided some much appreciated refreshments, and a fine time was had by all as everyone worked hard. Yet more proof of just how much you can get done in a short space of time with a large group of people! We look forward to repeat visits there.

It was Angelic Steve's 100th Good Deed, and as such he had been provided with wings to mark the occasion - fluffy ones for his back and a winged helmet to complete the look. A sight to behold!

We headed back to base for some brownies provided by Steve, but not before the runners were treated to....
