An evening of glitz and glamor asGoodGym Cardiff wins the Getting Wales Active Award at the BBC Sport Wales awards!

What an amazing few years it has been. We have all worked hard, getting fit and doing good and making the world a positive place.

We would like to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who supports us. This award is a testament to the hard efforts the goodgym walkers and runners make every week combining their running with helping in the community. It's a testament the charities, schools and community organisations that request our help and the older people who trust us to run and help and spend time with them. It's a huge testament to Ben Annear; Ben set up GoodGym Cardiff and The Vale in May 2017. He leads the weekly group runs, coordinates the tasks in the Cardiff area and helps coach runners to become better athletes.

Lives are changed for the better through GoodGym. It benefits the younger, the older and the next generations. We would love for more people to come along and walk or run with us and experience the magic of goodgym. 🥰😁

🌟This award has made our Christmas, and made 2019 a year to remember🌟
