Trees for Cities is a great charity that goes around doing big tree planting projects.
Today we helped them out in Goodmayes park, planting alongside hundreds of volunteers from all over the local area, families and scout groups all mucking in to plant literally thousands of trees.
This was no hedgerow, in a few years it will be dense woods, cleaning up our air and providing habitat for all sorts of critters where before it was just grassy field.
Next up is more of the same at Beckton Park next Saturday, so join in if you can!
