Eight of us braved the rain to help out at Grove Park allotments. The organisers were surprised and pleased that we still turned up - even if part of them might have wished we hadn't!

The allotments were looking lovely as a lot of people have had more time to tend to their plots but the schools have understandably not been in a while.

Being careful to socially distance, we got to work in three areas, clearing weeds across the plots and sheltering under tree cover when the rain got particularly heavy.

One team was careful not to disturb the 🦊 fox den!

After an hour or so we were soaked through so decided to call time. Some good work done by all, but more to be done as ever!
