GoodGym ment-allot to Antrim allot-ments
11 GoodGymers made their way to help the Antrim Allotments in Camden.
- Sunday, 10th of February 2019
- Led by John Shirley
Everyone who was signed up, turned up, not necessarily on time, some misjudging the time taken to get to Belsize Park, while others got lost on Hampstead Heath. But everyone mucked in, working hard to level a rugged area, removing chalk, digging out the hilly bits and generally levelling the whole area. We were watched by a keen robin who, like us, wore red on his chest. Others tidied, weeded and removed litter from another area.
A special welcome to Harry who was busy with his first ever GoodGym task, having been inspired by Ivo's recent talk at Sunday Assembly
All the hard work was rewarded afterwards as all eleven participants socialised at the Sir William Steele pub.
