If you're blue and you don't know, where to go to, why don't you go, where fashion sits? GoodGym on the Ritz.

With Post Marathon Legs, I hobbled onto the tube on route to my second week of cover with GoodGym Westminster. Feeling very nervous to see what (if anything) these legs could manage, I was greeted by the smiling welcoming faces of the GG Westminster bunch. Such a warm and supportive group who promised they’d look after me as we headed out to task.

This week we were back to SW1 radio station to continue with the refurbishment of the studio.

Weaving our way through Regents Street and down towards Green Park, felt like I was back in the marathon once more, but with so much encouragement and positivity, it felt like the crew were carrying me. To celebrate the team camaraderie, it would have been rude not to have a quick photo op at The Ritz and show em how to do things in GoodGym Style.

Arriving at the task, the team assured me that the radio station was situated inside a pub…… hummmmmm suspect I thought, but I was game none the less. True to their word the staff led us up to the recording room & to my surprise, there waiting was a radio station?!?! So we set to work.

Sanding & buffing was the aim of the game & as our radio soundtrack gave a nod to Michael Jackson, not, smoothing out those walls would be criminal.

Breaking up the time was the 100 Squat challenge, which the team breezed through with ease (will have to make it 200 next time) With some excellent pelvic thrusts steaming up the windows in perfect time to Montell Jordan, this is definitely "How we do it"and on that note, the squats and task were complete.

A swift 2 mile dash brought us back to Hyde Park, where there was….. (not really enough time but we did it anyway ooppsss) Drills and Sprints to work up and beast out, the last bit of sweat. A final warm-down run took us back to base, just as the sun was setting on another fantastic GG Westminster.

Massive thanks from me to the whole gang, who got me through a 5 mile blinder, a meer 3 days after London Marathon. Feeling very blessed, couldn’t have done it without you guys!!!!

Till next time xx
