A few Goodgym members joined in the RideLondon events in the capital.

The RideLondon-Essex mass participation event took place on Sunday, May 28th, 2023. The event guided riders on 30, 60 and 100-mile routes taking in some of the county’s most scenic sights. The 100-mile adventure took cyclists from London’s Victoria Embankment, travelling as far north as Great Dunmow, and finishing at Tower Bridge.

RideLondon is focused on inspiring people from all backgrounds to take up cycling as part of their daily lives and the shared aims of the Mayor of London, Essex County Council and London Marathon Events to showcase cycling as a sustainable method of transport and to promote the physical and mental health benefits of exercise.

It was great to be able to cycle along the main roads of Central London, free from the noise, danger and pollution of motor traffic. Especially nice to see so many families with young children participating
