This weeks #ggfitnesschallenge was to visit eight places in Chelmsford that related to WW2 in recognition of the 75th anniversary of VE day. 1. Find the Tank - In fact two were in place on the roundabout by the market 2. Guglielmo Marconi Statue - Found by the bus station 3. Hoffmans Ballbearing factory - Near the University. 4. The Street where a V" landed - Henry Road (target was Hoffman factory and missed by 400yds) 5. The "Dragons Teeth" - These are tank tracks and there are two sets in Chelmsford, Broomfield Road & 6. WW2 Pillbox - There are several in Chelmsford along Chelmer Valley. 7. Marconi Wireless Building - Old Moulsham 8. 1944 HQ of the SAS - Hylands House
Three runners took part and well done to Russell who gets the exclusive Union Jack headwear for visiting all locations and posting on Strava.
Special mention to Sally Ann who got 13 miles on her bike doing this challenge.
