Our Mission in Clapton today seemed to slot into place at every turn…

We arrived almost simultaneously, and seemingly just moments after the resident’s daughter, who’d come along to let us in and direct us.

The task was to move a bed from the ground floor up to the first floor to accommodate a new hospital bed, which was arriving the next day.

With the bedclothes, mattress and slats moved aside the bed frame came straight apart into four pieces with neither tools nor even much elbow grease so within moments it was on it's way up the stairs. Once there, the bed didn't even need rebuilding as it was due to just be stored in the spare room. Stood up against the side with the mattress next to it we must have been finished inside five minutes.

After some quick refreshment from their new Virgin Pure WaterBar, we said our goodbyes and went to leave. As we did the man of the house Coco was on the doorstep waiting there to see us off. 🐱
