Having headed over to help Mrs C from a community mission clearing out hay and muck at a community farm, I was thankful for having taken a spare pair of trainers for the second task - I don’t think Mrs C would have been too impressed with me traipsing through her house in my mucky smelly pair!

The task for Mrs C was a spot of gardening and it was great that it was warm enough that she could sit outside and chat with me while I worked.

In the time available I managed to deadhead some of her roses and de-weed her back yard and some of the borders, although there is still plenty left to do.

It was great to have a natter over a cup of tea and a biscuit with Mrs C, making this mission a really pleasant one for both of us.
