Despite the skies around looking decidedly dark, we did not let it dampen our spirits to get out and help the Pitsmoor Pickers to keep the local area looking clean and litter free.

Unfortunately Karen from the Pitsmoor Pickers has hurt her back so was not in attendance but MARVELOUS MALCOLM was there to meet us with bags, pickers and even his homemade, lightweight litter collecting rake which worked a treat!

Work smarter not harder!

On this weeks run we had a new runner join us. Give a big cheers and follow Jen who did a fantastic job and was great conversation on the run, teaching us about forest bathing and her work as a councilor for the NHS. Great to have you join Jen and hope to see you next week!

After a good stint and with many thanks from locals we had well and truly cleared the green in Pitsmoor and it was looking much better for all around as well as stopping a lot of litter making its way into the water ways.

Until next time, happy running! :)
