Today Mr. L and his wife are moving out of their flat so needed some GoodGym hands to help pack-up the last of their bits. Glady Mr L’s charming and capable cousin had done the majority of the work already, and was there today to direct.

Between she, Mr L’s wife and myself, we packed-up the bed, the bathroom and the remaining clothes and kitchen items. Removals people are coming later to do the heavy lifting.

Just as we finished, the council bus came to take Mr. L off for the day. The last item of clothes left out was a Sheffield United track top. I was surprised to find a Blades fan so far south, but Mr. L’s cousin assured me he is in fact a Gunner. Regardless, we helped him get his disguise on and onto the bus.

As I ran off down the street, I passed the council bus idling at the lights so was able to give Mr. L a last wave, and got a wave and big smile back… 😊
