Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
3 GoodGymers ran 7k to Wilton Estate Community garden to prepare for Hackney Half marathon.
On a beautiful East London Saturday we met in the bustling Victoria Park and set off on a longer than usual Goodgym running adventure!!
Taking in some of the best Green Spaces London has to offer we weaved our way through Victoria Park, London Fields and Well Street Conmon to meet Debbie at the magnificent Wilton Estate Community garden.
We got to work removing raspberry plants which had snuck out of the flower beds and grown up onto the path. Being really careful to keep as many roots in tact we loaded up a big bucket full of raspberry plants which are to be given away to local gardeners. A quick weed blitz to get the paths and flower beds clear and looking spectacular and we were off!
Thanking Debbie for hosting us we set off on our run back stretching the distance taking in some of the prettiest running routes in inner city London.
With running and weekend rewards well and truly earned we stretched out and headed off to enjoy the rest of the beautiful weekend.
Hope to see you at a Group run again soon!!
Best of luck with your Hackney Half and other racing adventures!
