We met the friendly friends of Ham Lands in the middle of the wood and they led us to our task - a mega overgrown area of path that is not very inviting to walkers and nature lovers.

Straight to work with gloves on , secatteurs, loppers and a new tool to GG - a tree popper! Lots of good chat and amazing October sunshine made the pretty tough clearance work of brambles, nettles and thistles thoroughly satisfying.

A good hour later and hey presto, a beautiful inviting path had been opened up by GG and Friends of Ham Lands for park users to enjoy.

Lovely to meet Alice from Hammersmith & Fulham and hope you had an enjoyable run back.

Thank you to Samia for organising.

And we hope the 2 GGers who couldn't join us today recover quick from their injuries.
