Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
GGNewham were flying this week in what was our quickest task ever.
We trotted off westwards out of the park towards Forest Gate. We dodged through the gradually increasing number of people in Westfield (yes, more sun definitely equals more shoppers) and made our way to Durning Hall, even with all of the traffic lights against us and turning red at every opportunity we made it down there in good time.
Our task this week was to get a small batch of hanging baskets ready for suspension.
Compost in,
Petunias in,
Water crystals in,
Water in....DONE!
The group really did make light work of it all, hopefully by the time we return we will see the baskets dangling from the wall in all their blooming glory. Until then, they've been tucked round the back for safe keeping.
On our return 3k we paced through partnered work; timed run outs without letting your partner take the lead. With plenty of time back at the park we battled through a round of bench plank variations and upper body work just before our cool down.
Join us next week as we return to the chickens, if you missed them last week don't miss them again.
Also check out this great event being hosted by Highgate Harriers at the Parliament Hill athletics track this Saturday 16th. Free to all, it's a great chance to watch some international talent in action. Night of the 10,000m P.B's See who else is going Here
