Happy belated birthday, Mrs D!
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Windsor and Maidenhead.

I was very pleased to hear that Mrs D has come out from the hospital and took the earliest opportunity to pay her a social visit and wish her a Happy belated birthday. Out of the freezer came the chocolate muffins that were meant for her 90th birthday last weekend, and off I went to see her. Mrs D is feeling better, a bit weaker but determined to get better. She's told me all about the most recent stay in the hospital. She was definitely not happy about having to spend her big birthday in the A&E, waiting to get seen by a doctor until the small hours of the next day. Having said that, she has been well looked after and now very pleased to be back home. It was good to see her being herself, there were some stories told, which I'll save for another time! 😊

Well done on getting your muffins to Mrs D, Georgeta - bet she loved them! Glad she's better and almost back to her best.
