Havana good time at Swindon Virtual parkrun
19 GoodGymers made their way to help the Lydiard parkrun and Seven Fields parkrun in Swindon.

This weekend, we supported the 19th Swindon virtual parkrun - our 4th virtual parkrun takeover. So I thought I'd find some facts about the number 19. Turns out, that's not as easy as it sounds...apart from "talking nineteen to the dozen" (very appropriate for the GoodGym takeover - we do like to chat) and, of course Covid-19, the reason we are doing virtual parkrun, there's not a lot to be said about poor neglected nineteen.
As if by magic, there were 21 volunteers...19 from GoodGym and the virtual parkrun stalwarts Joanne and Ben. Throughout the weekend, we paced, tailwalked and marshalled - supporting our virtual parkrun family every step of the way.
From early reports of bears on Friday π», to Paw Bests from our four legged friends π, and cows that wouldn't moooove π, there was plenty to keep us entertained - as well as Teresa's latest antics, of course!
Together, over the last 19 weeks at Swindon virtual parkrun, 461 people have completed 3058 total runs. That's further than Swindon to Havana and back π¨πΊ. I wonder how much further round the world we will get before we are reunited at real parkrun again?
