Have I got move for you
3 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Saturday, 27th of February 2016
Beth, Andy and Frances turned up at Fred’s to help him move a few things around ahead of some work he was having done to his flat. The job was a little lighter than originally expected – Beth and Frances dealt with some bags of rubbish which needed disposing of, before Beth and Andy skilfully handled an old dryer that the council was going to collect from outside.
That taken care of, Fred very kindly offered us some tea and cake. We had a chat while trying to make friends with his cat Tiddles (or was it Tickles?), who seemed a bit suspicious of our presence. Then we headed back off into the cold, with time to spare for lunch before the next mission of the day.
