Double Trouble Birthday
Tonight we had a double celebration of Birthdays with GoodGym Worthing reaching 6, yes 6 years old and our very own Sarah also celebrating her special day. It was very nice that she chose to share some of it with her GG buddies ( plus she brought cake! )
This evening we had a great task in the garden of our local leisure centre that we take care of and which has become a regular project that we visit. Last time we were there for a tidy up we came back with the intention of making a designated area for the large compost heap!
On our last visit we had spied some large pallets that proved perfect for tonights activity. My trusty helpers in the shape of Paul and, fresh from his half marathon the day before, Ricky carried the pallets from the storage compound over to the garden.
Craig was doing a great job digging out and shaping the area. Anne was, as ever, pitching in and giving her all, wherever needed.
Meanwhile Barbara was chopping and sorting debris whilst Birthday girl Sarah was, in her own words 'organising accessories' Ha ha!
The task was very efficiently carried out. I took an epic photo of Sarah but unfortunately it got deleted by accident on my phone ( no idea how ! ) so we will need to re enact the pose again next time !
The offer of a run was traded in for a trip to the pub instead! Just like that and with the light gone, the task was done ( apart from eating Birthday cake made by Sarah's Mum !
Official GG 6th Birthday celebration
Monday 27th March, 7:15pm after the task at St Botolph's Church Garden at The BrewHouse. Meet for a drink with the option to eat if anyone would like.
