A fit and fab crew of Goodgym gallivanters paced out a solid 6km, for a fabulously festive task in Southwark this week!!

On this very, very, very, very cold (did I mention it was cold??) Wednesday evening, it was good vibes and smiles all round that warmed the crew, before the big head off to the penultimate 2017 task.

What was in store this week was a run to our hosts - Creation Trust at the Giraffe House in Burgess Park. http://www.creationtrust.org

This week we asked to help them create their very own Winter Wonderland and spinkle a whole lotta Christmas all over the joint, for the local community!!! YAYYYY!!!!

So down the high street we did fly, all the way past Peckham Rye. Through the dark and under bridges, mind the bikes and we'll have no hitches.

To Burgess Park, the course was swift and even though the air was crisp. We were speedy, wd ran with flair and got hearts racing with the game - 'Chase the Hare'.

Upon arrival we were knackered, but like every week it never matters. Because when the task to us was revealed, our aching legs miraculously healed!

Then this GG team of double figures, got down to work with paper and scissors. Wrapping piles of Christmas delights and also hanging some Xmas lights.

While busy wrapping and twinkle light hanging, we listened to Christmas tunes that were banging.

Last on the order of jobs to be done, was a task just brimming with fun, fun, fun! Giant balloons that needed blowing, filling the room, as they kept on growing!!!

Like always we were sad to say goodbye, but when having fun the time does fly. We looked upon our work here achieved and think our hosts were also rather pleased. All our efforts were Christmasey and great, but now we must go or we'll be late!

So run we did under the dark night sky, once again up to Peckham Rye. Chats and laughter all the way, discussing family traditions for Christmas day.

We had fun, we did good, for a worthy cause in our neighbourhood. But now finally home it was time to speak, about the final GG before Xmas and drinks next week!!

Hope we see you there for a final farewell next week!! But for now it's goodnight!
