Another summer Wednesday evening = another goodgym run. We welcomed Bob, who was running with us for the first time, and Sue and Ian who had coordinated their second run with us.

We had a brisk walk to the outdoor gym where the night's lesson was about maths and we learnt about turning 180 degrees! All this learning whilst warming up helped to get the group motivated by the run up the hill through castle park. Half way we had a womble stop as we noticed a pile of litter where some people had obviously been drinking cider earlier in the day. We then continued up into the town centre, through red lion walk and down the steps at the Vineyard St Car park and to the Emmaus Warehouse where we met Phil, who was making some furniture.

Our job, however, was to sort through 5 boxes of CDs. As with the DVDs a few weeks earlier, we had to check for empties, and then arrange them in alphabetical order to be put on shelves. As Michelle and Tommy were going through their box, I noticed some familiar CDs, familiar because of the randomness of the collection. I can't imagine many people had Meridith Brooks, Big Brovaz and Janet Jackson in their collection. It was all looking very familiar and I was getting ready to give my mother a piece of my mind for giving all my CDs away...

Then a few moments later, I remembered that in a New Year's Resolution Marie Kondo phase, I had actually donated these myself! How funny, and proof that I didn't need them, as its been about 5 months!

After the CD sorting was done, we made our way back through the park to the outdoor gym where we did some bodyweight strength work. Everyone was very quiet, concentrating on doing the moves right. After we'd had our strength session, we had a bit of fun seeing who of us could do pull ups. Nicola did about 6 with some assistance from Tav. Bob, David and Ian managed a few reps too, but the real star was Tommy, who I believe did 15 reps in a row, before having another go.

A great night was had by all - same time next week?
