A warm night again this week for our group run in Bath and I must admit I almost had a sweat on before we started when I saw there were only three of us signed up with an hour to spare, thankfully we had six lovely runners along in the end for our 7k run out to Action on hearing loss to help Evan out in the memorial Garden.

All fired up and ready to go this evening, so we wasted no time getting the formalities and risks out of the way before heading out into the heat for a flat 3.5k run out to Twerton and our task destination.

We took in a bit of the riverside development incorporating a few steps for good measure on the journey out and we even managed to include some Flyering for Age uk and the Walking football they organise in the Twerton community before finally arriving at our location where Evan was ready and waiting to get the group organised. We split into two groups tackling two areas of garden in 30 minutes but as always it's amazing how much you can achieve in a short space of time and it's always such a pleasure to help out in these beautiful gardens at the centre for our cheerful host Evan.

Time was soon up and with a second to spare we took our group photo before making our way back to the leisure centre with some walking lunges, squats and press ups before enjoying a cool down and stretch out whilst listening to the Abbey bells chime although the sweat dripping like we'd done a spin session. Well done everyone for the massive effort tonight in hot conditions, Thank you Joe for tonight pun and Mim for backmarking .

Next weeks run will include our monthly social drinks do please try and make it along https://www.goodgym.org/group_runs/organic-gardens
