I'm still quite new to tasks so it was great to be joined on this one by seasoned professional Good Gymer Sam, completing his 318th mission! Mrs J was sadly burgled at the beginning of the month and by bringing down her hedge a couple of feet, there is now more visibility to the front of the house for her own safety. As there was two of us, we were able to have a nice tidy up and clear some rubbish as well. We also got to meet the wonderful next door neighbour Margaret, a friend of Mrs J and avid gardener who kindly lent us all the tools for the job.
Sam had misjudged the journey slightly and ended up running 8km just to get to the house, whereas I had tried to split my stretch target of 6km into there and back but stacked it on a stupid curb so it was more of a run there, hobble home...but still a great day!
