Help your neighbour
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Saturday, 28th of January 2017
Frances and Patrick spent a refreshingly mild Saturday lunchtime at Mr L’s house in Camden, helping him clear his back garden. We were met by Mr L’s neighbour’s son David, who helped us get set up with tools and gloves, while Mr L himself provided some much appreciated tea and biscuits.
As we had 90 minutes before Patrick had to dash for a train, we agreed that the priority was getting as many leaves as possible collected – something we are well used to after an autumn at GoodGym. Within 90 minutes we’d managed to fill four large bags and the grass area looked much cleaner – a small but noticeable difference.
