Helping Hazel finish packing
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Sunday, 16th of August 2015
After the amazing work by Dennis the previous week we returned to Hazel’s house on a sunny Sunday to continue packing boxes for her imminent move. Steph and I were new to this house and was greeted by a delightful Hazel who insisted we start with a nice cold beverage. Yes please!
The afternoon unfolded by folding cardboard boxes and filling them with objects of all shapes and sizes including some stunning China and the biggest collection of tea I’ve ever seen! Apart from Hazel, newspaper and bubble wrap were the key to the day with careful wrapping and wild stuffing. After a couple hours and packing a solid 15 or so boxes we called it a day.
We went our separate ways but Steph wasn’t done with the day and took advantage of the weather with a run around Regents Park while I lazed the day away with my dog. Ahhh the joys of summer…
