Dropping off some supplies to help with Ben's Centre's enhanced support offering during the current restrictions.

An overview of the work they are currently engaged with...

"The main focus of the COVID emergency response has been to identify who and where those people who would have normally accessed days centres such as Archer Project, St Wilfred’s Centre, Bens Centre, The Sunday Centre and Wednesday Night soup Kitchen.

The multiagency group has been created to help ensure that are in constant contact with supported and temporary accommodation providers and hotels and are still supporting vulnerable service users with our care and support, but it is being delivered in different ways.

Food Over 90 hot meals are being delivered to 3 accommodation providers 7 days a week and we know this number and demand will grow – but the good news is, there IS capacity to deliver on this. This is being temporarily being run from the Archer Project.

Essential items Toiletries, such as hand wash, shampoos, toothpaste, toothbrushes, sanitary products

Enhancement offer Many of the vulnerable service users don’t have access to items that might keep them busy, entertained during isolation – so we are asking for items such as

Old DVD player DVD’s Colouring books Stationary Board games Jigsaws, Puzzles Books Computer games TV’s "
