We met at the end of a day that can only be described as a scorcher !!😎😎

The allotment is always a good evening.Over the last 4 years we have been there in a wide variety of weathers.

Tonight was just beautiful .

The Colchester In Bloom allotment is perfectly placed to give some good views across our town.

Upon arrival Pam explained the various things she'd like us to do around the allotment.

The 9 of then set about the tasks and I think it fair to say we made a real difference to the allotment in the 90 minutes we were there.

We weeded,watered,raked,cut back and generally helped make the allotment a better place.

At the end of the evening we were rewarded with some lovely beans and courgettes for us to take home,all grown on the allotment.

Pam wanted us to take these home for our hard work.Thanks Pam !!

We are back at the allotment next week so I hope to see as many of you there as possible .
