Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
It was a beautiful morning for a spot of gardening, and so we set to work to de-weed Mrs D's back garden, so that she can plant it this spring.
Setting to work with gardening shears and trowels, we quickly filled two large garden waste containers with twigs and weeds. It was quite a shame as the weeds were sporting a pretty blanket of little yellow flowers, which had made the garden look rather pretty, but weeds they were, and had to go to make way for new plants to be grown.
We cleared roughly half the garden, including along the beds that Mrs D wanted to plant and the area in front of her shed doors, although the sweet little yellow flowers didn't give up the fight that easily and there was still a bit of work to be done by the time out time was up - still, a satisfying task, and a much tidier garden!
