Holding back the shears!
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Saturday, 10th of December 2016
Hazel and Kike overcame the drizzle and transport issues to help Mrs M sort out her garden for the winter. The task included pruning back a large bush, trimming back a climber as well as some basic weeding of the patio area and lawn. With a generous offer of tea and cake we got stuck in alternating chopping, lopping and shearing with bagging up the cuttings. After an hour or so and with the light failing we decided to call it a day and carried three bags of leaves through to the front garden before saying goodbye to Mrs M and her husband.
