Its a quiet one tonight as I popped along to help Broadstone Youth Centre with a complete renovation of their centre!

Vikki Slade, Councillor, is heading up the work carried out by volunteers in the centre to give it a more modern, fresher look!

I joined Vikki and around 8 other volunteers who help out in the club regularly or ad hoc with painting the chairs! (Yes I did say chair painting!)

These old chairs that have seen better days, are being renovated, whilst others were putting up blinds and making a stage! Clearly this project is only happening due to the large never of volunteers, skilled or non skilled who are lending a hand!
