Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Greenwich runner
The speediest sprinter, and the ever-enthusiastic cheerleader joined forces for a spot of basking in their Olympics afterglow (ahem, afterburn) and sweating out the Patron. We reneged on our long-standing, yet loosely-held Sunday morning yoga plans, believing spiritual enlightenment to be more readily attained by creating a zen Lambeth oasis for the guru that is Ms A, whose 'coach-spiration' lines include pearls of wisdom such as "every little helps" - true true...
So off to the garden to help 'a little' we did go....first stop, pesky holly bushes; who clearly didn't get the memo that the Christmas ship has sailed. No match for lumber'Jack'! Goooooo lumber'Jack'!
Elsewhere in the garden, Vix came over all 'bee sympathiser' and at 'om' with nature. Bees need cheers too! So we left the blackberry bushes to live another 'bee-autiful' day being the hottest buzzy bee hotel in town, and we scooped and sacked up the remnants of the two previous missions. And remnants there were. Prickly ones.
Ms A says she's feeling calmer by the mission about her garden's transformation. Miss-ommmmmmmmmm accomplished.
