Three GoodGymmers motivated each other to go to the Homewood Parkrun on a very wet morning. It was the 8th birthday of this parkrun so the team were happy to be a part of it! 😀 Nadia, Katie and Kirsty arrived early and contemplated life while watching the raindrops trail down the windscreen. Speaking of trails, Homewood is notorious for this and for being hilly which was used as an opportunity to train and improve fitness. 🏃‍♀️ After a strategic photo pre run, the group set off and made their way up the first third of the course which is a gentle incline. Getting to the Achilles hill, there was a mixture of people walking and running due to the brutal change in incline! Three laps later all the GoodGymmers came into the finish and some had a bite of the birthday cake! 🎉 Thanks to the run director and volunteers who give up time to make running possible for so many.
It was also great to see members of the No Sweat Running Community!
