Such a hot walk to see my Age UK Buddy today, I felt a little unwell when I arrived. JJ was very sweet offering me cold drinks and I soon felt better as we started our usual banter. We decided Boris was absolutely right in not reopening nightclubs for the youngsters as most have not had 2 jabs but he could reopen them for old girls like us, then we remembered we are usually in our pajamas by 9:30 😂 JJ was also very chatty about her Sons recent 2nd Wedding where she’d had a great time. Good to see her in such good form. Fortunately the air was a little cooler on the walk back. I’m not allowed to photograph JJ so here’s a photo of some dearly departed older ladies from my family album. One is my Mum. 😊
