Only one. A super fun, quite mintue minute, solo lunchtime mission.

I teamed up with Mike from urban green, back and much better from his broken leg, Jo and a dog she is currently looking after and another volunteer. We made quick work of the box of hundreds of bluebells and daffodil bulbs getting them all out in an hour.

The process involved using a spade to make a slit about three times as deep as the bulbs and push three bulbs into it spread out with the sprouting end at the top. Then close the slip by pushing the earth back together and stomping with a foot. We did this at random intervals and directions so it will look natural, going across the patch of grass spreading them out.

Once done I hurried back to work. What a nice way to spend a lunch break and get outside for some winter sunshine.
