Twelve runners ran 1.6km, the long way round the block, to plant a load of bulbs for the Friends of Tottenham Green.

Severe delays on the Victoria Line meant it was a slow start to the session, with most of those commuting back from town turning up just in the nick of time. As a bonus for those who came from locally, I performed a contortion act and got changed into my GoodGym t-shirt without taking off my work shirt.

We headed outside and performed a quick classic Dashing Dave Warm Up™: windmills, penguins, and chicken shooing galore. Slightly extend as I flyered passing pedestrians, who wondered what we were up to.

With the meeting point only next door, collectively we decided that the 1km dash round the block wasn't long enough, so went round 2 blocks. Pausing twice. Once for a traditional #BridgePic, and once to send the fastest runner to the back for a group for a surprise extra sprint.

Then we gathered our tools and set to work beautifying Tottenham Green. There were four tasks to do. Clearing litter from the flower beds. * Gathering leaves off of the flower beds. * Turning the leaves into the soil on the new flower beds. * Planting Tulips and Daffodils in the soil we turned over on a previous run

Retro reflective running gear, and some very strange litter made for some glowing photos.

Having absolutely smashed all the tasks, we stopped for a Haringey high five, and league of noughts and crosses relay. (Massive thanks to Sarah for getting the beanbags).

In the hotly contested race for 3rd place, the umpires inability to spot 3 in a line caused much confusion, but Senay's team got the line.

Despite only having two players, they played a very defensive game, allowing Manish and Luke to get the victory!

With that done it was back for those all important stretches.
