After what felt like a long day at work, I met up with the awesome Emma for a mission for Mrs G in Islington.

Mrs G was released from hospital yesterday and needs a fancy new recliner chair to aid her recovery. Our job was to move a normal recliner chair from her living room to a back bedroom to make space for the new recliner.

We were welcomed into Mrs G's home by her daughter, who also showed us the chair to be moved.

The chair looked very fat next to the very narrow doorway, and Emma and I weren't entirely sure how feasible it would be to move it through the flat. Just as we were almost wholly filled with doubtful contemplation, Mrs G's daughter floated the possibility of the chair being detachable.

After a little bit of fussing and turning things upside down, we found a couple of somethings on the chair that looked like clips and accompanying rails. However, toggling the clips in and out didn't inspire the chair to come apart quite in the way that we'd hoped. Luckily, we decided to persevere, clipping and unclipping the couple of somethings and occasionally yanking on the chair back until finally one of them started to give: The second one followed soon afterwards (I suspect it had fear of missing out).

Chair dismantled, we made short work of moving the base and the back forth into the rear bedroom, before making our goodbyes to Mrs G and her daughter.

It was lovely finally putting a face to a name, Emma! Hope you enjoy watching the football, and congrats on recently becoming a run leader! 😄
