5 goodgymmers took on the GG Islington interval session challenge this week, in various parks and local streets across London.
This week's session was designed to be a 5km tester- a fitness workout that allows runners to try potential parkrun paces in shorter repetitions before committing to the full distance. 5 x 1km to build towards achieving the pace for a full 5km distance.
Aidan ran to Thames Barrier Park for his session, northside of the O2 centre. Kike ran a green loop around Clissold Park, Manor House and Finsbury Park on a lovely sunny day.
Sally used the perimeter of Parliament Hill Track as a location for her 5km tester effort, Lizzy ran a loop of Caledonian Road for her session, and Trainer Simon ran around Canning Town Recreation Ground track for his workout.
Great work everyone! We have another excellent fitness session for this week- sign up here to get involved!
