The intercom to Mr T's flat wasn't working...fortunately a kind man standing on the other side let me in...unfortunately in spite of my vigorous use of the door knocker Mr T wasn't replying...fortunately I could ring Mr T, who was then amazed to discover I was standing outside his front door when he answered the phone...people have written comedy sketches with less material.

Mr T's list was a repeat of last week's four basic essentials, but with added guidance as to type of butter, bread and quantity of potatoes this time round, which was very helpful. Equally helpful was that by the time I got back someone had the smart idea of jamming the entrance door open and so this time Mr T was able to hear my knocking...and so let me in to deliver his shopping.
