I insist, have a mint!
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Lewisham.

Ms B was so friendly on the phone when I rang her a day before the mission. She was so grateful. I arrived 15 minutes earlier (a first for me!) and collected her cash and list. It was super simple but I explained that self raising flour / flour was hard to come by at the moment so she understood and said she was easy with what I could get off her list. Ms B happened to live nearby Mr K so I managed to get both shops done at Lidl. I didn’t find the flour and also checked the sainsbury and Tesco Which were nearby. Ms B greeted me with such a warm gratitude. She had a packet of polos and kept insisting please take them as a thank you I have hundreds after trying to resist and say it was a pleasure just to help she really did insist and kept saying take the mints so I did in the end.
