What a busy morning. The Baby Bank were inundated with deliveries, drop offs and referrals as soon as we started today. What amazing work they do supporting local families.

We managed to clear a whole pile of generously donated clothes and get them sorted, checked and in the right boxes ready to be given to new homes. We also moved cots and mattresses and unwrapped numerous knitted blankets.

The doorbell and phone didn’t stop ringing with people arranging and arriving for collections - it was great to see all the stuff moving into new hands.

Can’t wait to come back and lend a hand soon.

Providing essentials to families in extreme need

The Baby Bank collects donations of good quality clothes, equipment, and furniture to help families in extreme need. They provide essentials ranging from everyday items like nappies, and wipes to larger items like cots. They support families beyond the baby stage, for example with school uniform. They aim to give all children the best possible start in life.
