Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Like a special Good Gym edition of 80s and 90s game show ‘The Krypton Factor’, contestants (runners) were this week spread across four rounds at last night’s task, hosted by Claire at Wilton Estate:
• Artistic Ability - (Very carefully) painting a lower section of wall around the space in smart white paint.
• Physical Agility - Shovelling a massive deposited pile of wood chips into a barrow, bags, whatever they could get their hands on.
• Response - Quickly raking the a fore mentioned wood chips evenly around some raised beds.
and finally, the most challenging of the Good Gym Factor rounds this week…
• The Intelligence Round - Building a second, flat-packed barrow from a set of instructions which I think were in Japanese.
Contestants naturally excelled in all their Good Gym Factor rounds, especially the barrow building team who completed their task with just moments to spare before we all had to leave to move onto the SUPER ROUND!
This weeks super round involved yet more testing of the contestants’ physical endurance as Cory ‘Gordon Burns’ Wharton-Malcolm demanded sprints, sprints and then more sprints around a rather big triangle in London Fields. Prizes were awarded in the form of pints at the Pub on the Park while contestants recuperated ahead of (I hope) a Crystal Maze themed task next week.
