Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Norwich runner
Today all 485 parkrun participants made there way towards the skatepark start. The grass has risen and is looking a little lusher than before so we went 'back to the start' this week!
The foster was full this week so at the last minute this morning I decided to roll out of bed, have a quick coffee and get there just in time to walk over the football pitches with everyone else.
A reminder was given by Mr Polley for people to make sure that they take a finish token (yes even if you don't want a time), it just helps everything to run smoothly for the volunteers and it also means you will get your text/email faster too if there are less problems to sort out.
I was feeling still ill from the previous day but pleased I could now at least breath through both nostrils! The morning wasn't too cool which was good. I saw a few purple 25 volunteer t-shirts and gave them a 'well done purple volunteer!'.
Well done to fellow Goodgymmer Elizabeth for volunteering 100 times!! There's not t-shirt for that, just respect! Thank you!
Michelle fellow Goodgymmer and Norwich parkrun RD was seen on funnel managing duties and I caught her wielding (right word) a walkie talkie! She reports that all went well today, she also led the marshal briefing.
After parkrun I saw Bek had ran Norwich parkrun on Strava - kudos to you!!
Another good morning for Norwich Goodgym, running, volunteering and doing what we do very well!
Happy running and weekend everyone.

p.s looking forward to Christmas, Norwich parkrun will have their usual Christmas day parkrun at 9am. It would be great to see you guys volunteering and running too........Seasons Greetings!
