You went on the of fensive Goodgym Liverpool!!. Even punctured bike tyres and smashed phone screens couldn’t stop you!.

Right after the morning parkrun and litter pick, the intrepid 8 arrived at The Brain Charity, a national organisation that offers emotional support, practical help and social activities to anyone with a neurological condition and to their family, friends, and carers.

Matt lead us from afar by clueing us up on the task and coordinating it with our hosts. After getting our prep talk from Greg of The Brain Charity, we were handed all our gear. CSI had nothing on us as we strode confidently across the car park in slow motion. Armed with cloths and steel wool, we prepped the fence for its shiny new coating. Relishing the task, Pauline and Jo made sure our efforts weren’t one dimensional, by focusing on painting the back of the fencing as well. Despite distracting heckles of encouragement and a biting wind, our teamwork kicked in, working in relay along the fence. In double quick time we used up all the paint!!

Fencework complete, we grabbed a brew and biccy and Tim even Found a birdwatching book to buy!!
