I spy some green grass
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Wandsworth.
- Thursday, 4th of August 2022
My first gardening mission in a while involving a run down to Earlsfield to visit Mrs S.
She had a fall a few months ago and can’t weed the garden herself now which is upsetting her.
The area in question had a number of dahlias surrounded by (very green) grassy weeds. Potentially the greenest grass I have seen in london for a while. However it didn’t belong there so it had to go. Mrs S demonstrated to me how to use the spade and I was able to get on with the job.
After an hour all the grass had gone, the dahlias were free and Mrs S was pleased with how it looked.
